Property developer arrested in Badlapur

Badlapur West Police has arrested a property developer from Pune in a case of sexual assault and extortion of a married woman. The accused is named Shahdev Nakade, who took objectionable photos of the woman on the pretext of marriage and extorted money and jewelry through it. His brother is also involved in this crime. After enduring prolonged torture, the victim filed a complaint with the police, after which the main accused was arrested.

Raid on Matka Adda in Chakan

A team of the Crime Branch raided a Matka Adda named Kalyan, Milan and Time Bazaar operating in the Market Yard area of ​​Chakan. Four people were arrested in this operation and Rs 35,780 in cash and gambling paraphernalia were seized from them. The owner of this adda, Kartik Gotarne, is absconding and the police are searching for him.

Raid on illegal liquor manufacturing center near Shirgaon

Shirgaon police raided an illegal liquor manufacturing center near a stream in Pusane village. In this operation, about 8 thousand liters of molasses-mixed chemical were destroyed, which is worth approximately Rs 30 thousand. A 22-year-old woman was found at the scene, but she fled as soon as the police were alerted. A case has been registered at Shirgaon police station and the search for the absconding woman is underway.

Fraud in the name of stock market training

A 44-year-old woman was cheated of Rs 13 lakh 19 thousand 210 online in the name of providing training in stock market investment. The accused gained the woman's trust and opened an account in her name with DBS Bank, but added his own mobile number to it. He persuaded the woman to deposit money in this account and take a gold loan. Realizing that she had been cheated, the woman filed a complaint at Sahakarnagar police station and the police are investigating the matter.

Gang spreading terror in Hadapsar-Manjri area arrested

The Hadapsar police have arrested five members of a gang spreading terror in the Hadapsar-Manjri area. The action has been taken for attempting to murder by gathering an illegal crowd, brandishing weapons and firing. The police have arrested Sumit alias Vilas Dutta Khawle, Sahil Baburao Jagtap, Basavaraj Vijay Sutar, Vaibhav Shravan Gawli and Sachin Gangaram Renke and have seized a village pistol from them.
