Anna Schott: Giving Ourselves Grace Along the Journey

Listen Later

Anna Schott grew up in rural Nebraska and graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with a PR & advertising degree in 2015. After graduation, Anna threw herself into a marketing role at a leadership and coaching organization for six years. She is currently a marketing manager at one of the largest nonprofit conservation organizations dedicated to planting trees.

Anna’s recovery journey began the summer after her freshman year of college where she spent the next four years working to become ED free. Today, she’s passionate about serving, educating and empathizing with young girls and women who are going through their own ED journeys and being a supportive confidant along the way. Anna served as a board of director for SELFiD, a nonprofit organization on a mission to help youth cultivate a positive self-image and individually define health, and is working toward becoming a recovery coach in the near future.

In her free time, you can find Anna riding her bike along one of Lincoln’s many trails, drinking iced coffee at a coffee shop, frequenting her local farmer’s market or cheering on the Huskers.
