It's the birthday of the Father of Bluegrass Music on September 13th, so we devote the entire show to the music of Bill Monroe, the songs he sang, the tunes and songs he wrote and the legacy he left behind. We feature some rare live radio show segments from the 1940s which have Flatt and Scruggs in Bill Monroe's band.
