Let us know if you have any album recommendations for one of our next album discussion episodes!

10 Episodes?!?! Wow, a year ago we couldn't even get one episode out and now we've released 10 episodes!!

For our tenth episode, we decided to do a series of episodes dedicated to different decades in Music. We talk about the music we love from the 80s  in this one (We had to do it at some point because of the artwork) and there will definitely be a part two.

We also go on our infamous tangents and somehow end up talking about Christmas music that we like? Blink-182 obviously gets a mention here too. Stay tuned for a Christmas themed episode in December.

Recommendations:-
Kartik - Self Control by Laura Branigan
Kevin - Can't fight this feeling by REO Speedwagon

In this episode, we talked about

• Angels and Airwaves new single Euphoria (still no news of the upcoming album *flips table*)
• Green Day's new single Pollyanna (A much needed optimistic song from Green Day!)
• The HELLA MEGA TOUR! The upcoming tour from 3 rock giants - Green Day, Fall Out Boy, and Weezer

Stay tuned for Kevin's panic Save it chant at the end, because of the one time that Kartik forgot to hit save on the recording.

Recommendations: -

• Kartik - Fall by Neck Deep
• Kevin - Lucy by Simple Creatures

In this latest episode, we review/talk/commentate about the latest album from the van and only Weezer called Van Weezer.
In hindsight, I'm actually quite surprised we could stick to one topic and didn't go on our infamously elaborate tangents, hope you all enjoy this more focused episode!

Kartik - Rebel Girl by Angels & Airwaves
Kevin - Shy Away by Twenty One Pilots

Episode 7 and we already have another guest! This time it's Vedanta a good friend of Kevin's and now a good friend of mine too :')

Artists mentioned: -
Yellowcard, Illenium, Machine Gun Kelly, Eden, Audiomachine, I Prevail, Travis Barker, Ghost, Behemoth, Bring me the Horizon

Recommendations:
Kartik - Dance Macabre by Ghost

You all requested it - and here we have it! A full-blown (Weeb) episode dedicated to anime and Japanese music. This is quite a niche topic and might not be for everyone but we implore you to explore [Kartik definitely wrote this B-)].

We talk about how anime is a great gateway into this completely new world of Japanese music and more! Kevin has already been exploring the depths of that genre while Kartik is still floating on the relatively shallow waters of anime openings/endings.

We hope you enjoy the episode and hopefully - We get a few of you journeying into the beautiful world of Japanese music!

Recommendations: -
Kartik - zenzense by Radwimps (from the movie 'your name.')
Kevin - Ao to Natsu by Mrs. Green Apple

Our First Episode with a guest as promised and was none other than our designer and good friend Himanshu!

We talked about:
- Random unnecessary banter (this was our first time with a guest, cut us some slack please)

- Moods and how they can impact our perceptions of songs

- How the average person listens to music and the role platforms play in discovery and exploration (Apparently Kevin uses 3 platforms?!)

- Artists mentioned: Doja Cat, Blink 182, Oasis, Weezer, Sophie Tucker

- Recommendations from Haim, Hoodie Allen, and Teenage Wrist
Songs: The Steps,  Fame is for Assholes, and Silverspoon

Was tricky keeping this a regular-sized episode and we feel like we barely scratched the surface with this one, lots more to come!
