Are you mistaking tolerance for Grace?

This Sunday, Pastor Filmore invites us into a deeper understanding of what real grace looks like.

Drawing from Luke 7, where Jesus dines in the house of a Pharisee, we see that grace isnt encountered through pretense or performacne. We cannot try to manage Jesus and think that we are inviting Him in on our terms and in our atmosphere. True grace is met in honesty and surrender.

This story reminds us that the depth of our experience with grace is linked to the depth of our devotion. When we stop seeing Jesus as an observer in our live but as a loving savior that loves fully and completely we encounter a grace that begins a transformative work in us.

The grace of Jesus is not selective or polite. It is scandalus, transformative and personal. This week truly receive it and see how it changes everything.
