Instead, it will be a coordination effort between insurance companies, countries, and shipping companies to move traffic. Spirit Airlines halted all flights early Saturday and began liquidation, with Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy blaming the Biden administration for blocking the airline's proposed merger with JetBlue and sealing its fate.
