Anson Dorrance is a world-renown women’s soccer coach at the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill and arguably one the best soccer coaches of all time according to Sports Illustrated, ESPN and more. He has led the Tar Heels to 22 National Championships, 22 ACC Tournament Championships, and 24 Regular Season ACC Championships. With a 88% winning percentage over 43 seasons, he has been recognized as the Women’s Soccer Coach of the Year 7x. Additionally, Coach Dorrance was the Men’s Soccer Coach of the Year in 1987 and coached the United States Women’s National Soccer Team to a Women’s World Cup Victory in 1991. In 2008, he was elected into the National Soccer Hall of Fame.
