Paul’s instruction helped us ponder as a church: Do we value God’s Word as much as Paul did? Do we understand & behold God’s sovereignty & faithfulness? Do we hold God’s righteousness in highest regard, without being clouded by our own human definitions?

Ultimately, we were reminded that to “put God on trial” is to fail to recognise our unrighteousness and God’s glory. But we as Christians are not treated as our unrighteousness deserves, because of Jesus’ sacrifice.
