In this episode, the slackers dive right into the million dollar question, with Thomas saying that it 100% can due to the difficult reality we live in, surrounded by financial responsibilities and materialistic things, making him believe that one cannot live without money in the world we live in today. Meanwhile, Earl firmly argues otherwise, stating that money CANNOT buy happiness because it's only really the purchases and materialistic items that create momentary happiness. Finally, Ron stands neutral, as he conveys how money does help people achieve happiness; however, only to an extent.

And lastly, the episode's icing on the cake comes in the form of an intense concluding debate, where the guys choose between pursuing your passion over money, or chasing money over passion.
