When choosing trend pieces, choose things that can be temporary because trends change, and/or you may get tired of the pieces over time. Use trends as accent pieces to allow for versatility and updates.  Getting on video was the biggest game changer for Inside Design with Kandrac and Kole. Google loves video, it's great for SEO, and social media is moving towards video for success.  Paint and updated accent lighting can make a huge difference in your design if you don’t have the funds to do a significant overhaul.
