Answers with Ken Ham - The Faint-Sun Problem

Listen Later

This is Ken Ham, inviting you to try our streaming platform, Answers.TV.

If you start with millions of years you have a big problem. You see, computer modeling predicts that the sun was fainter in the past and has brightened over time.

But if this is true, the sun would’ve been thirty percent dimmer at the time when life is thought to have first evolved. But the earth would’ve been so cold the oceans would’ve been frozen solid!

And it gets worse. Geologic evidence suggests earth was much warmer in the past. And yet, according to the evolutionary view, the sun was dimmer so earth should’ve been cooler.

Millions of years isn’t confirmed by the evidence. The universe is only thousands of years old.
