We explore the origins of this theoretical land, beginning with Claudius Ptolemy’s concept of Circulus antarcticus around 150 CE, which postulated the existence of a southern continent as part of a Greek theory of the globe. We’ll investigate the possibility that these maps contain the fingerprints of a lost civilization that mapped the entire world.
