So apparently Antminers have a backdoor that allows the manufacturer to remotely shut down the devices? And apparently the security surrounding the feature is not very strong? With an estimated 70% of existing hash power coming from Antminers, this could be a huge vulnerability for Bitcoin. We’ll cover the details and speculate during the first half of our livestream tonight.
Then later in the show, we have to spend some time celebrating Bitcoin’s recent record prices. It’s well over $1300 at the moment and of course, we couldn’t be happier. How long will this last? Should we expect a correction or a breakout? We have no clue but we’re gonna tell you what we think anyway.
