Debut film from writer director duo Gerard Bush & Christopher Renz, Antebellum is a nightmarish film staring Janelle Monáe in her first leading role as Veronica (a very successful author) or rather Eden (a woman who is hell bent on escaping life on the plantation). Strap in for this thriller that’s a bit of a sleeper until it jolts you awake.
