Anthony Crummy: NZC committed to returning to McLean Park

Listen Later

New Zealand Cricket is committed to returning to McLean Park next season, once remedial work is done on the multi-purpose Napier ground.
It's transferred the fourth one-day international between the Black Caps and South Africa to Hamilton, due to McLean Park's drainage issues.
The Napier City Council is committing to a $900,000 upgrade of the ground and NZC chief operating officer Anthony Crummy said they're confident the venue will be able to host ODIs against England and Pakistan next summer.
Crummy said McLean Park will now be able to host cricket more often as currently it takes a while to recover from the rugby season.
