Their initial findings highlight that AI usage is concentrated in software development and writing, with a moderate lean toward augmenting human capabilities rather than full automation.

The index also found AI adoption is most common in mid-to-high wage occupations. To facilitate further exploration, Anthropic is open-sourcing the dataset and inviting feedback from experts.
