Episode 19's #EducatorCoffeeTalk focuses on an anti-racist classroom and school culture.  One of the biggest mind shifts for me was when reading that being “not racist” is not the opposite of being a racist. Rather, claiming to “not be a racist” is more of a mask for tolerating racism.  The opposite of being a racist is being “anti-racist.”  This vocabulary change for me changed my positioning from passive to a passionate intolerance.
