Prior to the kick off for their 20th Anniversary tour in Europe, Uncle Yems sat down with Chicomann from ANTIBALAS, the Grammy-nominated Afrobeat Orchestra founded by Marti Perna, inspired band by Fela Kuti's Africa 70 band. After 2 decades exploring and amplifying the roots sounds, the band is celebrating by touring Europe, starting in Barcelona. We had the chance to hear about their curiosities, their modus operandis and what keeps them going after so many years.

The African sound has been travelling the globe for years, but to see Antibalas having so much longevity in the game, this can only tell us one thing. AFROBEAT is here to stay.
