Anti – (Greek): opposite, i.e. instead or because of (rarely in addition to):--for, in the room of. Often used in composition to denote contrast, requital, substitution, correspondence, etc.

There are 'many' anti~christos'.

Notice how the last portion of verse 23 is italicized? Thats because it does not exist in the original manuscripts, this is a late addition to the texts.

Take note of verse 20. The 'false prophet' are the 'anti-christos' that “deceive (to (properly, cause to) roam (from safety, truth, or virtue):--go astray, deceive, err, seduce, wander, be out of the way) only those that had taken the Mark of the Beast.”
