On Tuesday June 19th, 2018, police are responding to reports of a drive-by shooting in North Braddock at 8:27pm. A car fitting the witness description is pulled over, the driver is taken out of the car and as he’s being handcuffed, the two other people in the car flee. Officer Michael Rosfeld aims and fires three shots at Antwon Rose who is later pronounced dead at the hospital.
