Anwar Shuoor is a popular urdu poet from Pakistan. He was born in Seoni, Madhya Pradesh in 1943. His family migrated to Pakistan at the time of partition in 1947. He has been associated with Sabrang Digest for a long time. He writes for major news papers like Jung. His writings feature regularly in Funoon and other magazines. His published work includes Andokhta, Mashq-E-Sukhan and Me Raqsam
