Desire, deception, and poor decisions collide in this penultimate episode of Season 1 as Nicole navigates the morning after her second encounter with Carter. The episode takes a surprising turn when Mike reveals he's purchased a stunning wine-red evening gown for Nicole to wear to the awards ceremony that night. What should be a thrilling opportunity becomes a source of anxiety as she learns she'll be escorted by Jason – the very person who's furious about her secret affair with Carter. As professional makeup artists transform the women for their red-carpet debut, Nicole grapples with guilt, attraction, and the overwhelming pressure of maintaining appearances in the public eye. 

The red-carpet scene captures both the exhilarating and disorienting aspects of sudden fame as Nicole experiences her first brush with paparazzi, interviews, and the surreal reality of standing beside rock stars in formal attire. Jason's behaviour grows increasingly unpredictable as he alternates between threatening Nicole about her secret and creating uncomfortable situations with reporters.

Tensions reach a breaking point when Jason delivers his ultimatum: tell Mike about Carter by morning, or face consequences. With the additional complication of spotting Timothy Carter taking photos at the event, Nicole finds herself trapped in a situation spiralling beyond her control. Her inability to communicate honestly has created a powder keg ready to explode in our upcoming season finale.
