In this episode of Can’t Find My Way Home, I was joined by Matt Castellvi.
Matt is a Chicago native comedian who has been performing worldwide for the past 15 years.
Matt tells us about moving to Amsterdam in January 2020 to start working at Boom Chiacgo, then in February 2020 he had to stop work because of the pandemic. Not quite the start he was anticipating…
Since then, Matt’s committed to a packed schedule, performing at least 5 nights per week, as well as touring as much as he can.
We get into Matt’s path into improv and stand up, turn ons and offs, the never ending battle with the audience, and why there’s no better feeling than performing on stage,...and just what makes Boom Chicago special.
There’s talk of future tours, where Matt WOULD really like to perform…as well as a fun-filled Top 5 featuring opening for Alan Carr, not getting The Office, Smash Mouth’s All Star, and gigging with Romanian stand-up, Victor Patrascan.
All this, and why there’s not enough bandwidth for people’s attention…
