In this episode, we find ourselves aboard the CSV Halcyon Wake, an independent civilian cargo vessel. You've intercepted a distress signal from the CSV Trillium Fold, a CoreHelix registered transport ship that vanished over 18 months ago.

It’s drifting on minimal power in the Eos Molecular Cloud, a volume of space 300 Ly from Earth and just outside the standard Way Station network - making it off-map, off-registry, and completely silent. No signs of damage. No response to hails. Escape pods: gone. Life signs: negative. Manifest: redacted.

You have just docked alongside the apparently abandoned vessel to investigate. You have 20 minutes until a “recovery” vessel, claiming authority under CoreHelix salvage licence, but they have not supplied any corroborating evidence. You have no idea who they really are, and of course Anything Could Happen!
