The senior crew of the UFR Exploration Vessel DSV Horizon's Edge is operating in the uncharted outer regions beyond known trade lanes. During routine scans, they detect a massive artificial structure drifting toward an exoplanet. The scans confirm the impossible: it's a Generation ship, launched from Earth centuries before Harmonic Drives were invented. A relic from the earliest days of humanities reach into the stars.
