The expedition vessel ESV Aspirant Dawn has landed on the frozen surface of a distant world—Barnard b (or another suitable planet in the Barnard’s Star system). They were sent by the UFR to investigate a mysterious energy source deep underground, but something isn’t right. Beneath thick ice, they’ve descended into an ancient ruin. The walls are engraved with symbols no one recognises. At its heart is a chamber filled with what look like fossilised egg sacks sitting in a haze of frozen vapour. It’s the job of the crew of the Aspirant Dawn to find out what's going on… …and of course… Anything Could Happen
