April 21, 2024 ~ Darryl Woods grew up in Detroit, Michigan, and at age 13, he left home, dropped out of school, and began selling drugs. In 1990, at age 18, he was convicted of first-degree murder and served 29 years in prison for a crime he did not commit and was released on Feb. 12, 2019. Since 1995, he's been a minister and has helped lead countless men to salvation. In 2020, he and Mitch Albom launched S.A.Y. Detroit's "Better Together" initiative.
