Aug. 5, 2023 ~ Dr. Ora Hirsch Pescovitz grew up in Washington D.C. After earning a Bachelor of Medical Science and a Doctor of Medicine from Northwestern University. From 2009 to 2014, she was the Executive Vice President for Medical Affairs at the University of Michigan, and the Chief Executive Officer of the U-M Health System. Since 2017, she has been the seventh president of Oakland University, which is the sixth largest public university in Michigan.
