Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has received multiple death threats and had her Bronx campaign office vandalized over the weekend. A message reading “AOC funds genocide in Gaza” was spray-painted on the building after her controversial vote against a Republican amendment to defund Israel’s missile defense systems.

AOC, who has called Israel’s military actions in Gaza a “genocide,” defended her vote, saying the amendment would have prolonged the war without ending military aggression. Some progressive groups, including the Democratic Socialists of America, condemned her vote as contradictory and harmful.

Her team is now working with security officials. The NYPD is investigating, and no arrests have been made.
