Episode
16 has Lyman and Kevin sitting outside a beautiful $30 million estate
up in the Pacific Palisades waiting to perform with Steve Tyrell for a benefit
for the Navy Seals. Yes, THOSE Navy Seals! They interview their old pal Steve
Cotter who is also on the gig. Steve is one of the premier jazz guitarists on
the LA Jazz Scene and he talks about his recent vacay to Paris. Kevin of course
interrupts him ad nauseam and still blames the French for their contribution to
the Holocaust. He also manages to squeeze in a little promo for his vocal CD,
which came out three years ago. Then it’s back to Steve as he shares with the
guys his musical upbringing, the various artists with whom he has worked and
his early influences. Also, Quinn Johnson adds some shall we say, colorful
additions to the interview. Special thanks to Lyman for doing his best to keep
the interview on track but alas, it is to no avail.
