In this episode of the AP Now podcast, Mary Schaeffer is joined by another Top 50 AP Influencer, Stewart Griffiths. In this episode, Stewart shares the journey his team has undergone as it moved remotely and the role that technology played. His team was lucky in that they each were given a laptop loaded with the apps they needed when they were sent home. Like many, they had little notice (two days).
He then went on to discuss the various technologies used by the team to help keep them on track. It wasn’t all about invoice handling, much of it was about keeping in touch and keeping morale up. My favorite was his instruction to the staff to go out and find something on YouTube that showed something Teams could do that the others didn’t know.
He pointed out that if ever there was a time to make the case for new technology, it was now. He offered some tips on how to do that.
He ended the conversation with some tips on how to move forward through these unusual times as well as a promise to return for a future podcast.
