This week we begin to look at the final gift listed in Ephesians 4, the gift of the teacher. The Bible is a large and complex book and we therefore need faithful guides to help us understand and, ultimately, live it. More than a mere distiller of information, the teacher seeks to guide us to the place of formation, where God's story challenges, rebukes, and heals the false stories we believe about ourselves, the world, and God.
