Film For Your Thoughts

Apocalypse Now: How Deep Is Humanitiy’s Inner Darkness?

Listen Later

Hello Everyone, This is a film I've wanted to talk about for a long long time, and now that I've had the chance to make an episode on it, I'm happy to venture forward into the soul that makes Apocolypse Now one of the greatest films of all time. Although the film centers on the Vietnam war, I honestly look at it as an existential exploration into the inherent darkness human beings can often succumb to when pushed against a wall that only leads to the inherent destruction of their innocence. I hope you all enjoy this episode and as a wise man once said, "I'll see you at the movies."
