Misty shares how trail magic and the Appalachian community inspires her and also how the community defines Appalachia and the Appalachian Trail.

Misty's an experienced backpacker and thru-hiker of the Oauchita National Recreation Trail and the Appalachian Trail.  You'll find her spending as much time on the trail as possible with her husband and their dog Dante.  She also loves to give trail magic and has done trail maintenance as a way to give back to the hiking community.
