Chapter 21, "The Compound"
Katie wakes up as a Sleeper Slave in a compound that is much like the compound where her Seekers and Pure Hearts are.  She meets her instructor who is a 13 year old girl. 
Katie realizes she can withstand the commands of the Malus but she is like a robot when the Enticers give her orders.

Chapter 22: "Lost Time"
Katie realizes she has lost approximately 6 hours of time.  This means she is still acting like a robot wolf.

Chapter 23 "Clawed"
Katie is caught breaking a rule.  Her instructor and herself or forced to the center of the compound where they will be clawed.  Katie uses her projection skills to protect themselves.

Chapter 18: "Dibs"
Katie meets Scott Justin's little brother for the first time.  The leaders of the Pure Hearts decide how to handle everyone going to school.  Kat meets Zach.

Chapter 19: "The Storm"
A massive storm is created and the lightning is searching for Katie.  The Hawk and Price homes are attacked.

Chapter 20: "Becoming a Slave"
Katie realizes she has been protected from the sleeping sickness because she had placed some silver in the Hawk home.  She now has to make a decision to let the sleeping sickness take over.

Chapter 15: "Fighting with Jared"
Jared realizes Katie is not telling him everything.  He demands Katie to trust him.  Since she promised her older self not to tell him she is cagey.  Jared walks away leaving Katie alone.

Chapter 16 "Kat"
Katie introduces Kat to the compound and the Pure Hearts and Seekers who stay there.  Kat meets Cole.

Chapter 17 "The Plan"
Katie meets up with the Sleeper's and comes up with a plan on how they will allow themselves to be captured by the Fallen.

Zapped Again
Kat finally tells Katie she is worried about how Katie will react at the full moon.  Katie gets to close to the pile of silver and gets shocked so badly her heart stops.

Katie finally learns how the silver effects Sleepers and has to figure out away to take it with her when she is taken by the Fallen.

Attitude Adjustment
Katie gets back to the plantation home only to have Kat confront her.  Katie finally gives Kat an attitude adjustment.

Katie goes down to the cave and explains that she thinks when she is older she has learned how to time travel.

Katie eventually demotes Kat from being in charge of the California Pure Hearts

Katie, Jared, David and Candy take an hour and visit their families.  They are all located at Jared's home with Jack Price acting as host.
Katie is surprised when Rachel Smith informs her that the school year begins in four days.
David tells Katie the reason why the Hawk's are not with the other parents is because the they blame themselves for Lizzy's actions.  They do not want to be around the other parents.
Katie is aware how much danger Lizzy's parents are.

Katie, Jared, David and Candace begin to experiment with the silver the California Pure Hearts have brought.
They were able to get Cole to come out of the sleeping sickness.  When Cole touched Katie she "traveled" and met with the young Native American she had previously met.  The maiden gives tells her she is about to free the slaves.

Katie hasn't decided if she trusts the California Pure Hearts.  Kat the leader of the Californian's began to flirt with Jared.  

Katie starts to study the silver and is shocked so strongly she is thrown three feet back.

Sheriff Tate has introduced her to some military men that are from Lexus.  They will help her make bullets out of the special silver.
