What do we do when we find ourselves asking the question "How did I get here? How did my life become this?" Nehemiah found himself in a similar situation. Their sense of self was stripped from them and they had to rebuild. Our lives are protected in these times by the walls we build around ourselves through the spiritual disciplines. These walls protect the most important thing in our lives, our hunger for God.
