Many people were shocked -- shocked! -- by the $5,000-plus price tag Apple gave its Pro Display XDR monitor (not to mention that $1,000 stand). But given that the monitor is targeted at professionals who are used to paying through the nose for their gear, the price really isn't so shocking.
