"The Beautiful Virus"
1 Thessalonians 1:6-8 ~ And you became imitators of us and of the Lord, for you received the word in much affliction, with the joy of the Holy Spirit, so that you became an example to all the believers in Macedonia and in Achaia. For not only has the word of the Lord sounded forth from you in Macedonia and Achaia, but your faith in God has gone forth everywhere, so that we need not say anything.

1. Love the Church More than the Chase
1 Thessalonians 2:17-20 ~ "But since we were torn away from you, brothers, for a short time, in person not in heart, we endeavored the more eagerly and with great desire to see you face to face, because we wanted to come to you—I, Paul, again and again—but Satan hindered us. For what is our hope or joy or crown of boasting before our Lord Jesus at his coming? Is it not you? For you are our glory and joy."

2. Love God’s Plan of Suffering More than a Place of Safety
1 Thessalonians 3:1-5 ~ "Therefore when we could bear it no longer, we were willing to be left behind at Athens alone, and we sent Timothy, our brother and God's coworker in the gospel of Christ, to establish and exhort you in your faith, that no one be moved by these afflictions. For you yourselves know that we are destined for this. For when we were with you, we kept telling you beforehand that we were to suffer affliction, just as it has come to pass, and just as you know. For this reason, when I could bear it no longer, I sent to learn about your faith, for fear that somehow the tempter had tempted you and our labor would be in vain."

3. Love Faith More than You Hate Fear
1 Thessalonians 5:23, 24 ~ "Now may the God of peace himself sanctify you completely, and may your whole spirit and soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. He who calls you is faithful; he will surely do it."

Do your responses point to the Gospel?  Trying to navigate these unprecedented times has caused us to evaluate what we say and do.  Josh and Justin's discussion resonates well with the temptation to caught up in the noise that distracts us from the One that ultimately has everything under control.  His name is Jesus!  

Josh and Justin further discuss the Hope what we are to display as faithful followers of Christ.  This discussion is sparked from Dr. Chris Craig's latest sermon.  

Sometimes we can understand what God is trying to speak to us because we have to come into what His word (Bible) already says.  God wants to speak to you individually! 

A honest discussion on this past Sunday's message on Psalm 37:6.  What do you desire?  

The secret of success is found in faithfulness and perspective.  What is success in the eyes of God and how do we continue to pursue Him even when we don't see an immediate benefit.  

Justin rides sole this week as he elaborates on Chris' message from this previous Sunday.  What does it take to live a life that matters?  

"Don't forsake meeting together" Hebrews 10:25  Justin and Josh discuss coming out of of pandemic mode to the spiritual obligation of gathering as believers. 

In Matthew 6 Jesus commands us to don't worry about a thing!  In a time where anxiety and worry can consume us, we need to encourage one another to look to Him who is in control of the chaos!
