Dwight D Eisenhower was President of the United States.

 

He was also a US Army General who was the Allied Forces Supreme Commander during WWII.

 

And...he came up with what we now refer to as the Eisenhower Matrix.

 

In short, it provides a framework for prioritising decsions based on a matrix of Urgent and Important.

 

It's simple. And it's useful.
