Psalm 45
I
My heart overflows with noble words.
You are the fairest of the children of men
O mighty one, gird your sword upon your thigh;
Take aim with your bow in your dread right hand.
Your throne, O God, shall endure for ever.
Therefore God, your God, has anointed you
From the ivory palace you are greeted with music.
Glory to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit:
Ant. Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord, alleluia.
Ant. 2 Blessed are those who are called to the wedding feast of the Lamb, alleluia.

Listen, O daughter, give ear to my words:
And the people of Tyre shall come with gifts,
She is led to the king with her maiden companions.
Sons shall be yours in place of your fathers:
Glory to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit:
Psalm-prayer
When you took on flesh, Lord Jesus, you made a marriage of mankind with God. Help us to be faithful to your word and endure our exile bravely, until we are called to the heavenly marriage feast, to which the Virgin Mary, exemplar of your Church, has preceded us.
Ant. Blessed are those who are called to the wedding feast of the Lamb, alleluia.
Ant. 3 From his fullness we have all received, grace upon grace, alleluia.
Canticle β Ephesians 1:3-10
Praised be the God and Father
God chose us in him
He predestined us
In him and through his blood, we have been redeemed,
God has given us the wisdom
A plan to be carried out
Glory to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit:
Ant. From his fullness we have all received, grace upon grace, alleluia.
READING Hebrews 8:1b-3a
We have such a high priest, who has taken his seat at the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in heaven, minister of the sanctuary and of that true tabernacle set up, not by man, but by the Lord. Now every high priest is appointed to offer gifts and sacrifices.
Sacred Silence (indicated by a bell) β a moment to reflect and receive in our hearts the full resonance of the voice of the Holy Spirit and to unite our personal prayer more closely with the word of God and public voice of the Church.

The disciples rejoiced, alleluia, alleluia.
When they saw the risen Lord,
Glory to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit,
CANTICLE OF MARY
Ant. What is born of the flesh is flesh, and what is born of the spirit is spirit, alleluia.
Luke 1:46-55
My soul proclaims the greatness of the Lord,
From this day all generations will call me blessed:
He has mercy on those who fear him
He has shown the strength of his arm,
He has cast down the mighty from their thrones,
He has filled the hungry with good things,
He has come to the help of his servant Israel
Glory to the Father, and to the Son,

Let us pray to Christ the Lord, who bathed the world in glory through his resurrection. With joyful hearts let us say:
Lord Jesus Christ, you walked with your disciples on the way,
Do not let us be slow to believe,
Look with kindness on those who do not recognize your presence,
Through the cross you have brought reconciliation to mankind in your body,
Judge of the living and the dead,
Our Father who art in heaven,
Concluding Prayer
