We can rest assured in our salvation because Jesus is the Lion of Judea who became the Lamb of God who took away the sins of the world. If we have Christ in our hearts, if we are in Christ, then we too have been saved by the Lamb. God sent His only Son to break our fall, to absorb the blame that was rightly ours and to give us new life. That is Grace. We are all broken in one way or another. We need to own that truth. In the midst of that brokenness, there is great news. Jesus took the fall for us all.
