The Federal Appeals Court in Chicago denied the request to block the ban on assault weapons in Illinois, University officials announced John Coleman as the next Vice Chancellor of Academic Affairs and Provost at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and Champaign-Urbana will celebrate Earth Day with festivities throughout the week.
