“Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a reproach to any people.” — Proverbs 14:34
“For the Scripture says, ‘Everyone who believes in him will not be put to shame.’” — Romans 10:11

It’s easy to get caught up in the excitement of things like popularity, success, and fitting in. But the Bible reminds us that what truly matters is how we honor God with our lives. In Proverbs 14:34, we see that righteousness is what elevates a nation or a community—it’s the core value that sets us apart and honors God. And in Romans 10:11, we’re encouraged that when we believe in Jesus, we won’t be disappointed. We’re called to live in a way that reflects this righteousness, to seek God with a genuine heart.
When we honor God in our choices, we stand out in a world that often values the wrong things. Living with integrity, kindness, and love reflects God’s character and draws others to Him. Our actions, words, and attitudes become a testimony of who we belong to and what we believe. So, while the world may focus on outward success, God values the heart that seeks righteousness and truth.

THINK ABOUT IT
BOTTOM LINE
Living a life that honors God and seeks righteousness is far more valuable than anything the world can offer. It’s not about fitting in, but about standing out for Him.

PRAYER
Heavenly Father, Thank You for calling me to live a life that honors You. Help me to seek righteousness in everything I do, from the choices I make to the way I treat others. Give me the strength to stand firm in my belief in You, and to reflect Your love and truth in all I say and do. I want to be someone who makes a difference for Your Kingdom. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
