Today we’re celebrating the birthday of John Peters Humphrey, a Canadian legal scholar and human rights activist known for drafting the Universal Declaration of Human Rights! John spent over 20 years working for the United Nations and spent his entire career advocating for the rights of those often overlooked. Happy birthday, John!
