We open with Leviticus 13 and the task of the priests to assess whose skin is clean versus unclean, then we slow down in Psalm 92 to ask God to make thanksgiving and joy real in our hearts. We reflect on Sabbath-shaped worship and the kind of long-term faith that still bears fruit in old age and refuses the “set in their own ways” story.
