“And he said to her, ‘Daughter, your faith has made you well; go in peace, and be healed of your disease.’” — Mark 5:34
“But overhearing what they said, Jesus said to the ruler of the synagogue, ‘Do not fear, only believe.’” — Mark 5:36

Some days feel like everything is going wrong—stress, fear, disappointment. Maybe you're trying to do what’s right, but you wonder if it even matters. Proverbs 13:21–22 reminds us that doing good and living righteously really does lead to lasting reward—even if it doesn’t feel like it right away. Sometimes, we just need to be reminded that God sees and honors a life of faith.
In Mark 5, Jesus encounters people in desperate situations. A woman who had suffered for 12 years reached out in faith and was healed. A young girl had died, and her heartbroken dad was told there was no hope—but Jesus said, “Do not fear, only believe.” Whether someone had been waiting for years or facing the worst day of their life, everything changed when Jesus stepped in.
Faith isn’t just a church word—it’s a life-changing, miracle-making, peace-giving response to Jesus. That woman was healed not because she had a perfect past, but because she believed Jesus could make her whole. The ruler's daughter was raised not because he had all the answers, but because he trusted Jesus enough to keep walking with Him.
