The audience will hear from a veteran of the financial services world, representing a technology-enabled 401(k) platform for SMBs, who is creating awareness and engagement for retirement around the country.
April 1st is traditionally known as April Fool's Day, where jokes and pranks are expected. In recent years, it has also been referred to as 401(k) day. This is a tribute to one of the more popular employer-sponsored retirement plans, available for business owners and their employees. While Mr. T is famous for the catchphrase "I pity the fool," we don't want to pity SMBs that don't have a retirement plan in place yet. The idea is to better help them understand how to best take advantage of this vehicle, especially during a time when many states around the country are passing mandates that require businesses to offer a retirement plan to their employees.
We are joined by Vinnie Allard, Director of Advisor National Accounts at Human Interest. Vinnie and his colleagues have been huge proponents of making 401(k) retirement planning easy and affordable for SMBs. Human Interest aims to sync business payroll, process contributions, handle the related compliance testing and IRS paperwork on behalf of SMBs. The goal is to take the hassle out of managing your company’s 401(k), and that is no joke!
