April is a powerlifter who overcame severe addiction and thoughts of suicide to now go on and set competitive records.  April has recently taken her next step and has qualified for the World Championships. 

April's is an inspiring story thanks to an amazing mind & body transformation during the pandemic absent of competitions and events.  In just a couple of years she has moved from addiction recovery to smashing power lifting records and representing her country. 

In this episode April and Jamie talk about her experience at Powerlifting Nationals, her letter to herself about her goal to get to the World Championships, how she pulled herself out of addiction and her desire to give back and use her story to help others.
