Comedian and writer April Richardson was last on the show in 2016. Since then she fell in love, got married and moved to England. But things with her new husband quickly changed. For a long time time she was absent on social media—to the point her followers were direct messaging her to see if she was okay—but recently she surfaced to announce she’d left an abusive marriage. I reached out to ask if she’d be willing to tell the story on my show and she said yes.
