Faith is logical, not because it is syllogistic but because it has benefits. By the same token, faith has benefits because a lack of faith has costs and many of them serious. Indeed, to understand the costs of losing ones faith, look around your environment and at the news, these are events created by people who felt so betrayed, they lost their connection to the rest of humanity.
